El torneo de 1899 arranca con novedades negativas,
ya que las deserciones de Palermo, Banfield y United Banks deja reducida la 1ra. División a sólo 4 conjuntos.

Banfield inscribe a su conjunto en la recientemente
creada 2da. División.Por dos puntos de ventaja
BELGRANO relega a LOBOS,que nuevamente se debe conformar
con el segundo puesto,y BELGRANO se consagra campeon por
primera vez.











En el nuevo campeón jugaban entre otros: Mc Farlane, Dorning, C. E. Dickinson,
Addecott, Barker, Itbetson, Harvey, Hooton, Frasser y Baldock.


El torneo se jugó entre el 14 de mayo y el 9 de septiembre
